Mya’s going wild for photography.
Mya is 13 years old and recently met Leon, a YST senior youth worker. After exploring some of her interests, Leon delivered an introduction to photography workshop and Mya has been snapping her local environment ever since.
Leon was so impressed with Mya's passion and photographs, that he suggested she enter some into the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust, 'Wild Youth' photography competition.
Leon said,
Over the past 6 weeks we have been taking photos in her local area in the Cotswolds of wildlife and my friendly dog Nala. After only a few lessons from myself and her art teacher she has taken some outstanding photos with just her smart phone.

Mya said,
I have enjoyed exploring and taking pictures of animals like Nala (Leon’s dog). Photography or cooking is something I would like to do when I finish school.
Mya's mum has said,
I am very impressed by Mya’s pictures, they are very creative and artistic.
