Holiday Hunger Project

The YST has partnered with the food charity, Wiggly Worm to provide hot, nutritious meals for young people and their families in the Cheltenham area that are affected by food poverty during half term.

From 11:30am – 2pm each week day during the school holiday, we'll be providing meals for collection from our centre in Whaddon - there maybe an opportunity for us to deliver to locally too if there is enough interest.

As well as the meals, which are open to everyone, YST staff will be on on hand running activities for young people in small, pre-booked “bubbles” - because of Covid restrictions and other bookings, we do have to be strict about the numbers of people in the centre at one time so booking for activities will be essential.

Coronavirus update for YST services

At Gloucestershire Youth Support Team our priority is the safety and well being of the young people we work with and the staff that work so hard to support them.

As the national lock down restrictions are lifting, we are now returning to more face to face delivery, including some group work and events. We will be continuing to deliver virtual contact. Please be assured that we are ensuring that precautions to keep people safe are maintained in all spaces.

We know these are uncertain times and some people are experiencing heightened concerns. If you are worried please speak to your contact within the YST or contact us at info.glos@prospects.co.uk.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
