That’s why, in the Youth Support Team, we encourage anyone who would like to get involved in working with us. We take on volunteers, and support student placements wherever possible.

What we offer
Opportunities to get involved include:

  • Helping to run activities and weekly programmes, working alongside youth workers

  • Volunteering to mentor young people

  • Opportunities for research, and formal student placements (these are advertised on the local University website – Degree+). In particular, we accommodate youth work and social work students from University of Gloucestershire, and Applied Criminology students from University of Worcester.

  • We recruit Referral Order Panel volunteers at least once per year. You can find more information on this role here >

  • We also encourage young people themselves to get involved in delivering our services Find out more here >
